August 21, 2000 - Interview with ALETA SILL by Bowling Press Pro (BPP)

August 21st, 2000:

BPP:  You've just won professional title number 31 in Atlanta, Georgia at the Greater Atlanta Open. You're one win away from tying Lisa Wagner's all-time win record, and you're two wins away from surpassing that milestone. What does the future hold for you?

ALETA:  "In the future, I'm going to concentrate on winning more. It'll take hard work. I know I have to always be learning. I would like to do it (break the all-time win record), but, honestly, it's not the most important thing. The most important thing is making money. That's what drives me the most is paying my bills. I'm very fortunate. I've accomplished a lot of things. It (the pressure) isn't even close (to my reaching the million mark). It's not weighing as heavy on me. Sure, if it (breaking the record) is what happens while I'm making money and I'm bowling well, then that's just going to be another perk. But if I don't do it, I won't lose sleep. I am going to try to give them (the fans) something to watch, read and talk about.
