Use the Proper Ball Weight for Maximum Performance!
 
Keep in Mind these Keys to Using the Proper Bowling Ball Weight:
  • -If you use a ball that is too light, you will overpower it, leading to inconsistency and inaccuracy
  • -If you use a ball that is too heavy, it is difficult to let it swing fully AND keep a firm wrist
  • -Use the Proper weight will enable a free, full swing along with wrist control for the best combination of accuracy and power

 

Your Bowling Coaches are very cautious about using a ball that is too light, or too heavy.  Too many bowlers either feel they are not strong enough for the proper weight, while many try to go too heavy and sacrifice way more than they gain!  And, as kids start throwing it hard (adults, too!), it does not always mean it's time to go up in weight!  It may mean it's time  to develop a firmer wrist for more ball roll!
