We take the time to get to know you.
Now, here's a little about us:
Michelle Mullen is a former coach for U.S. Team (Team USA) and one of 25 United States Bowling Congress (USBC) GOLD coaches in the world (among 4 women). She has been coaching bowlers of all skill levels for nearly 30 years and is the co-owner of Your Bowling Coach with renowned professional bowler, Aleta Sill. They also operate Aleta Sill’s Bowling World, a premier pro shop in Metro Detroit.
Mullen has competed and won championships at every level, including high school, collegiate and Professional Women’s Bowling Association (PWBA) regional and national bowling. She is a National Collegiate Women’s Champion and 2-time Academic All-AMERICAN. Mullen has four PWBA national titles, including a major, and a record nine regional titles. She was also the 1990-1999 PWBA Regional Player of the Decade. In 1985 she represented the United States in the World Cup in Seoul, Korea.
An Academic All-American, Mullen is also an established international writer and author. Author of BOWLING FUNDAMENTALS, she has written 3 books, translated in 4 languages. Published in Bowling Magazine, Bowler’s Digest, Bowling This Month, Asian Bowling Digest and various other publications, you’ll now find Mullen’s bi-monthly column, “Foundation Frame” in Bowlers Journal International. She is a member of the International Bowling Media Association (IBMA).
Mullen enjoys working out, gardening and cooking, but her greatest passion is to help homeless animals in need. She and Sill formed a non-profit organization, running two huge fundraising events, called “Fur Ball” and “Bowl-4-Animal Rescue” with ALL proceeds benefiting local animal charities. Mullen is from Chicago and lives in Livonia, Michigan, along with her 3 dogs and 4 cats, who insist that “rescued is her favorite breed”. Mullen’s message: “Don’t Shop, Adopt!”
